Hello!
Welcome to Scubaboy - Bristol based directing duo James Ward and
Jon Hardy.
We make music promos, live visuals, idents, titles and other
things along these lines.
You can see what we've made by looking at our work, you can see what's
been happening by reading our news, and you can see what we do when we should be
working by clicking on play.
If you want to work with us, get in touch.
We're pleased to say that we've just confirmed a sort of mini VJ residence at Start The Bus in March and April at their new night 'No Need To Shout'.

Another attempt at making a Scubaboy ident. This one was a slight accident but we kinda liked how it came out.

This is the view from our new studio. It's quite nice to look
out the window as the sun sets across the city - helps keep a nice
sense of perspective on life.

Back in 2004 we filmed The Baker Brothers play at The Jazz Cafe in Camden. It was shot on no budget and never got released (probably because there was no budget).
Suddenly out of nowhere it looks like we might finally get to finish it.

New Year, new Scubaboy. After two and half happy years being based at Spike Island it was time for a change, so 2010 sees us settling into a cosy new studio.

We have been working with Science.TV to produce a set of motion-graphics for a series of programmes they have been putting together with Vestas (the world's largest wind turbine manufacturer).

We've just finished putting together some visuals for Delirious' farewell tour which is about to kick off. Although you've probably never heard of them these guys have been around forever, touring across the globe since I was a small boy.
The UK tour kicks off in Belfast next week and ends up with a final show at the Hammersmith Apollo where I think they're filming the gig for a live DVD release sometime in 2010.

Moving Parts is featured on Promo News today! We're pretty excited by this for obvious reasons. It's great to see our work up alongside some of the best of the industry.

Moving Parts has been included on Feed section of the Creative Website. Which is nice.

We've just finished producing a set of motion-graphics for a promo for Channel Fours' 4 Talent Scheme.
Bristol based production company Calling the Shots produced the video and brought us in to provide the graphics.
